So wannabe whale has exactly 1,350 points as we speak (from 1,374 points).

Before we get to Willye, who was & is still in 2nd place, I should mention that Journeyman was eliminated due to the CLE loss as well, and that SportSavant is also eliminated when Chicago White Sox lost, preventing a potential +555 day if SF does wins later tonight. Instead, SportSavant can only get a best 1,252 points for the month of July (by going 2-1 with TEX and SF wins).

Now Willye essentially needs more than +155 points today to win the $500 monthly prize.

With those picks, Willye can go 2-1 if and only if the winning combo is LAA and SF (+262 offset by DET loss at -102 = +160).

Otherwise, Willye needs to win all 3 games.

As I recall from my very distant memory (meaning the last time I won a monthly prize was over a year ago), they will post a $500 Bonus Play as soon as they are told to do so. I had mine in my account within a day or two of month's end.

you only need to be active for the 'BONUS' monthly prize, other than that, this is a post up contest, and there is no requirment to be active for the yearly prize.
